A thread or the community it sits in
Two of the three orders here work on a single post. Reddit upvotes take the public address of one thread, the long link or the redd.it stub, and change the figure printed beside it. Downvotes take the same address the other way. The third, Reddit subscribers, takes an r/ name and moves the member line under a community. So the opening question is not how many. It is whether the thing that reads thin is a post or the room it landed in.
A thread that fell flat in a busy community is not repaired by members, because the people reading that listing are already there. A community with four members has nothing wrong with any particular thread; what a visitor weighs is the line under the name, before a single post has been read. If both look thin, keep them apart: different targets, different ladders, two lines on the same order.
The score is one balance, and both arrows write to it
The number under a Reddit thread is not a tally of approval. It is what is left once the downvotes have come off the upvotes, which is why two threads showing the same figure can have had very different afternoons. Every other platform in this shop sells counters that only add. Reddit is the one place here where the subtracting side is sold as well, and both orders write to that same printed number.
What such an order does is narrow. It puts the quantity you chose on the one public link you hand over and stops there. No comment is written, nothing comes off the page, and nothing is said about who posted it. Reddit keeps site-wide rules and every community layers its own on top; we give no reading of those and no advice on where to point an order. What sits with us is the size of the step and the link it lands on.
The three ladders are different sizes, and so are the rates
Upvotes run in ten steps from 20 to 10,000. Downvotes also have ten steps but stop at 2,000. Subscribers begin at 50 and reach 10,000. A score of a few hundred reads differently from one community to the next, while a member line of a few hundred is a subreddit still near its beginning. The same figure means two different things depending on which counter it stands on, so do not carry a quantity across from one product to another.
Per thousand, the three sit far apart. Subscribers are the cheapest number to move on Reddit and get cheaper again on the long steps, ending at roughly a third of the upvote rate. A downvote costs about twice what an upvote costs at a comparable quantity, and that holds the whole way up. One step can cover several posts, but only one community
A vote order does not have to sit on a single thread. Both vote products divide across as many as 100 links under one order, none of them taking fewer than 20. The plain case is one piece cross-posted into several communities, where every copy carries a score of its own. Each link then stands on the order page as its own line, with its own quantity and price beside it.
Subscribers do not divide. One step goes to one subreddit, because a member count belongs to a community and there is no sensible way to halve it between two. A mod team carrying three communities orders a step per community, and one checkout holds all three as separate items.
What the three Reddit orders have in common
Paste a post link and the checker resolves the address and shows the target back to you before you pay. Hand over an r/ name and it resolves the community the same way. What it will not tell you is that a thread has been locked, that a post came down an hour ago or that a community has gone private. It reads the address, not the state of the page.
Checkout takes cryptocurrency. The total is fixed in dollars first, so the figure holds still while you choose a coin, and that transfer confirming opens the run. Every Reddit order then lands in one pass; no counter on this platform is spread over a window. Questions about this platform
Do upvotes and downvotes cancel each other out on the same post?
On the printed figure, yes. The score is a single number that both arrows write to, so pointing both orders at one thread means each is working against the other on the same figure. The two orders are therefore not worth running against the same link at once. Decide which way the figure should move, then take the step that carries it that far.
Should I order subscribers for the subreddit or upvotes for the posts inside it?
If you moderate the community, Reddit subscribers acts on the community itself rather than on anything posted inside it. Once threads collect comments on their own, the number holding a good post back is its own score, and Reddit upvotes is the counter for that. Either way they stay two orders with two targets.
Why is a Reddit downvote priced higher than an upvote?
The downvote ladder runs at roughly twice the upvote rate per thousand, and it stops earlier, at 2,000 against 10,000. Nothing about the two is symmetrical, so size a Reddit downvotes order against the score actually printed on the thread rather than against what upvotes would have cost.
What do I paste at checkout for each of the three Reddit orders?
For votes, the address of one public post: the long link out of the address bar works and so does a redd.it stub. For subscribers, the community, either as the r/ name or as its full link. Nothing else is asked for at any point, since a page anyone can open needs no password, no login code and no permission over an account.
What happens if the link check cannot resolve my Reddit link?
You can order anyway. It is there to catch the wrong address before money moves, not to hold an order up, so a link it fails to open still goes through and the run works from what you typed. That leaves the accuracy with you, so read your own link once more before confirming, and write to support@mrfollows.com if the address itself looks wrong.
Three Reddit services, and the link decides everything
Reddit is the one network where the same word means two different targets: subscribers can mean a subreddit's member count or a profile's followers. The link you paste is what settles it, so this page is unusually specific about which address goes where.
No password access
Every service works from a public link or a public username, so there is never a reason to hand over your password. Nothing we run has anywhere to put one.
Subreddit or profile, never guessed
A reddit.com/r/… link is the community; a /user/… link is the account. We read the kind straight out of the path rather than inferring it, and an order against the wrong one is refused at the link step instead of failing at delivery.
The link is checked, not fetched
Reddit blocks automated reads, so we confirm the address is well formed and names a real kind of target. We do not claim to have opened the thread, so check it is public yourself, because a removed or quarantined post cannot receive anything.
Upvotes and downvotes are the same shape
Both attach to one public post and carry identical steps, from 20 upward. Score work is the only thing either one does: nothing here comments, reports or votes anywhere else in the thread.
