Case study
A Telegram channel quieter than its own header
Fourteen thousand members and four hundred views a post is a channel that reads as abandoned by its own audience. New members would only widen that gap. The order went on views for the last twelve posts, brought the ratio into a believable band, and only then added members at a pace the views could carry.

The situation
A Telegram post carries its view count in the corner, and a visitor divides that by the member count in the header without thinking about it. Four hundred over fourteen thousand is under three percent. Whatever the content, that ratio says the members are not there.
The instinct is to order members, because members are the number in the header. It is the wrong first move: every member added lowers the ratio further. Views come first, and on the posts a visitor scrolls back through, not just the newest one.
The goal
Bring views on recent posts into the band a channel this size normally shows, then grow members without letting the ratio slip again.
What was ordered
| Service | Quantity | When | Why |
|---|---|---|---|
| Telegram Views | 3,500 per post, last 12 posts | Day 1 to 4 | The twelve posts a visitor reaches by scrolling. Ordered as one order with twelve message links, so the counts landed unevenly and looked read rather than stamped. |
| Telegram Members | 2,000 | Day 5 to 10 | Only after the ratio was right. Two thousand over six days kept the header moving without a step a subscriber would notice. |
| Telegram Reactions | 60 to 120 per post, 6 posts | Day 3 to 8 | Only on posts where the reaction row was already switched on. Reactions on a post without the row have nowhere to appear. |
Views per post as a share of members
How it went
- 1
Day 1
Views on the newest four posts
Started with the posts at the top, since the ratio is judged there first. Around 3,500 each, arriving through the day.
- 2
Day 2 to 4
Views on posts five to twelve
The rest of the visible scroll, so a visitor who kept going found the same pattern rather than a cliff after four posts.
- 3
Day 5
Members begin
Two thousand members paced over six days, roughly 330 a day, which on a 14k channel is a plausible good week.
- 4
Day 10
New posts hold the band
Marko's next daily digests were landing at 3,800 to 4,600 views organically, with 16,000 members in the header. The ratio held without further orders.
Before and after
| Metric | Before | After | Change |
|---|---|---|---|
| Views on recent posts | 380 to 460 | 3,800 to 4,600 | 10x |
| Members | 14,020 | 16,110 | +2,090 |
| Views as share of members | 2.9% | 31% | in the normal band for news channels |
| Forwards per post | 2 to 5 | 18 to 40 | roughly 8x |
What to take from it
- 1On Telegram the ratio is the number. Fix views before members, never the other way round.
- 2Order views for the whole visible scroll, not the newest post alone. A visitor scrolls.
- 3Reactions need the reaction row switched on. Check the post before ordering them.
“I stopped getting the 'is this channel still active' messages. That was the whole point.”
